Our annual orientations begin in February. The orientations are for students only.
Orientations allow the partner companies determine if each student is a good fit for an apprenticeship and allow students to determine if our apprenticeship is right for them!
The partner companies assign students to the orientations after the open house. Each orientation session is a multiple day event that is designed to introduce the student to our technical trades with hands-on activities and written tests. Each orientation session is four evenings at a partner company, 4 hours each evening. Students are not paid to attend an orientation. Also, the students will write a report about their experience each evening. After the orientation, the students are asked to return college placement test results from CPCC should they desire to proceed.
