Blum has experienced remarkable growth since its 1977 establishment in a small warehouse located in Hickory, North Carolina. Two years later, the company moved to a 30,000 square foot building in Stanley, NC where we have since completed nine building expansions. Currently, our 450,000 square foot building is located on 70-acres and includes administration, manufacturing and distribution facilities, a high-rise product storage building with automated retrieval, a low-bay warehouse for customer order staging, a state of the art cabinet shop, and a samples preparation area.

In 1995 the company launched an apprenticeship program, Apprenticeship 2000, which provides a college education as well as on-the-job training. After four years training, skilled CNC machinists, tool-and-die makers, injection molding specialists, machine and electronics technicians have a guaranteed job.
